Passionate

What does it mean when we say someone is passionate? One can derive many meanings out of the word, and each definition holds true to its bearer. In a nutshell, a passionate person is someone who has strong emotions or feelings regarding a goal or ambition.

Some people define being passionate as being compelled or ruled by intense emotion. These strong feelings are considered fervid and consuming at times. This description is often used to describe people with high ambitions or those who really love what they are doing

Another definition of the word passionate is used to describe people who get aroused easily, or can be easily influenced by their own sexual desires or libido. These people are also referred to as sensual people.

Artists are also normally associated to being passionate. Musicians, painters, poets, and the like are people who are able to express themselves fully, and can show intense emotions while practicing their art. These are the people who really love what they are doing, and do what they love all the time.

People who are easily angered are considered passionate individuals too. Those who are easily moved and swayed by anger, quick-tempered, and irascible are seen by some as people of passion. Fiery individuals whose tempers ebb and flow, almost at a bipolar level, who express themselves in extreme behavior when enraged or angered, are also considered passionate people.
